TNUSRB SI Written Exam Pattern

The TNUSRB SI written exam pattern is a two-part affair, with Part A and Part B being administered to both open quota and departmental quota candidates. The following table provides a breakdown of the number of questions asked in each part, the maximum marks, and the duration of the exam:

TNUSRB SI Physical Measurement Test Pattern

Exclusively applicable to open quota candidates, the Physical Measurement test holds significance as departmental quota candidates are not required to undergo this stage. This test primarily focuses on assessing the candidate’s height and chest measurements, and it is essential to note that this test serves as a qualifying stage. The table below highlights the specific parameters for the ‘Male’ gender in this context.

TNUSRB SI Coaching Centre Endurance Test Pattern

Only those candidates who successfully clear the Physical Measurement Test become eligible to participate in the Endurance Test, which is also considered a qualifying stage. It is mandatory for both Open quota candidates and departmental quota candidates to pass this Endurance Test in order to progress further in the selection process.

TNUSRB SI Physical Efficiency Test Pattern

Open quota candidates who have successfully cleared the Endurance Test qualify to take part in the Physical Efficiency Test, which is also of qualifying nature. However, it is important to note that departmental quota candidates are exempted from this particular test.

TNUSRB Certificate Verification
  • Candidates from the open quota, who have successfully passed the Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test, and Physical Efficiency Test, along with departmental candidates who have cleared the Endurance Test, are summoned for the certificate verification process.
  • As part of the verification process, all candidates are required to present the original certificates they had previously uploaded on the official website during the application process.

TNUSRB Interview

  • Upon successfully passing the Physical Measurement Test, Endurance Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and completing the certificate verification, open quota candidates will proceed to the TNUSRB SI interview process. Similarly, departmental candidates who have cleared the Endurance Test will also be called for the interview phase.
  • The count of candidates summoned for the interview process is twice the number of available vacancies.
  • The interview or viva voce process is allocated a total of 10 marks.
During the interview or viva voce stage, candidates possessing certificates in NCC/NSS/Sports/Games are granted an additional 5 marks.
